Privacy notice

Health information is sensitive, and we treat it that way. This page explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it.

1. Who we are

Bloom Ayurveda Co. is an Ayurvedic consultation and education practice run by Dr. Vaishali Singh, B.A.M.S., based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

2. Our guiding principle

We collect the minimum we need to help you, we use it only for that purpose, and we do not sell it. We never sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone, for any purpose.

3. What we collect

When you browse this website

Nothing that identifies you. This website sets no advertising cookies and runs no tracking or analytics scripts. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, which may include IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.

When you take the Rhythm Score

Nothing reaches us. Your answers are processed entirely within your own web browser and are not transmitted to us. If you choose to share your result afterwards — for example by tapping the WhatsApp button — you decide what to send, and you can read the message before sending it.

When you request a consultation

The booking form does not submit to a server. It composes a message which opens in WhatsApp or your email application, and you choose whether to send it. What you send us typically includes:

• Your name, WhatsApp number, and optionally your city and age.
• What you would like help with, and when you are usually free.
• Anything you choose to tell us about your health, symptoms, medication or history.

During and after a consultation

We keep consultation notes and the written plan we prepare for you. These may include health information you share, relevant history, and the guidance given.

4. Health information

Information about your health is treated as sensitive personal information. We collect it only where you choose to share it with us so that we can advise you properly, we keep access to it restricted to Dr. Vaishali, and we do not use it for marketing.

5. Why we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange your appointment.
• To provide the consultation and prepare your written plan.
• To follow up about your care, where you have asked us to.
• To take payment and keep the records that law and accounting require.
• To meet legal, professional and regulatory obligations.

We rely on your consent, which you give by choosing to contact us and confirming the consent checkbox on the booking form. You may withdraw consent at any time — see section 9.

6. WhatsApp and other services we use

Most of our conversation with you happens on WhatsApp, which is provided by Meta and not by us. Messages are end-to-end encrypted in transit, but Meta processes data about your use of the service under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. Please do not send us anything on WhatsApp you would not want handled under Meta’s terms.

We also use:

• A hosting provider to serve this website.
• A payment provider to collect consultation fees. Your card or UPI details go directly to them — we never see or store them.
• Email, for correspondence and sending your written plan.

7. Who we share it with

We do not share your information with anyone else, except:

• The service providers above, to the limited extent needed to run the practice.
• Where you ask us to — for example, sharing a plan with another practitioner.
• Where the law requires it, or where there is a serious and immediate risk to someone’s safety.

8. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become consultations: deleted within 12 months.
• Consultation notes and plans: retained for at least 3 years, in line with professional record-keeping expectations.
• Payment and accounting records: retained as long as tax and accounting law requires.

9. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you.
• Give you a copy of it.
• Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete it, where we are not required to keep it.
• Stop contacting you, or withdraw a consent you previously gave.

Just message or email us. We will not charge you, and we will respond within a reasonable time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it, and we may still need to retain clinical or financial records where the law requires.

These rights reflect our obligations under Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

10. How we protect it

We keep records on password-protected devices and accounts, limit access to Dr. Vaishali, and use reputable providers for payment and hosting. No system is completely secure, but we take the protection of health information seriously and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.

11. Children

This website and our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If guidance is sought for a child, a parent or guardian must make contact and remain involved throughout.

12. Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page. Where a change is significant, we will tell you directly.
